JH Band will perform in the Neewollah Kiddie Parade on Friday, October 28. Students should come dressed in uniform. Parents are welcome to attend the parade in Independence, Ks. It starts at 4:00 PM. After the parade, students will change out of uniform and have time to enjoy the festivities at Neewollah. They should bring money for a fast food meal and/or snacks. We will then travel back and have a hay ride that evening to the Campbell’s Spooky Hollow. Students should bring warm clothes and/or blankets for the hayride—they can be stored in the band room. We will depart for the Spooky Hollow from the Band room. Below is a check list for the day.

1:45 - Arrive to load the Bus—arrived dressed in uniform

2:00 - Depart CUHS

4:00 - Parade Step Off

4:45 - change out of uniform

6:30 - Depart Independence

7:30 - Arrive at CUHS, put up instruments, go to restroom & load trailers for hay ride.

8:00 - Arrive at the Spooky Hollow

10:00 - Depart Spooky Hollow

10:30 - Arrive back at CUHS

Note: DO NOT wear shorts for the hayride. Also, make sure your phone remains in your pocket for the evening!
