District Auditions are at the Independence Community College. Show up at 7:00 AM to load. Wear casual, but nice school clothes. This is a blind audition, but you will play better if you look nice.

Check List:

• Arrive, check in & immediately find your audition room

  • Your audition time & number will be posted on the door

  • Find out what cuts of the audition material will be used & what scale is chosen

• Warm up

• Monitor the progress of your room & plan to arrive 15 minute before your number is called

• Take your time in the audition room & play with a good tone

• Don’t bomb the scales
